Interview

Q1: Where are you from?

I am from Mount Vernon, MO

Q2: Where is your family from? If they are from outside the state, what brought them here?

My family is from South West Missouri.

Q3: Are you an observer or a talker?

I am an observer. I feel like I learn more when I observe, and I love to discover different personalities.

Q4: What was your favorite childhood television program?

My favorite childhood tv program was Between the Lions. Me and my siblings would watch it every day after school at my grandma’s.

Q5: Are you a morning or night person?

I’d say I’m a little bit of both. I like getting up early in the morning and having the whole day to do things, but I like nights because I have more energy. I love going out with family and friends at night, it’s just so peaceful and relaxing.

Q6: Are you a collector of anything?

I am a collector of items that capture memories of experiences I’ve had. I have a couple memory boxes with different items and pictures.

Q7: What is your favorite food?

It’s hard to say what my favorite food is; there is so much good food to choose from. It depends on the time of year and my mood. For example, In the summer I love fresh fruit and veggies, and in the fall I love having bonfires with chili and s’mores.

Q8: What do you do for fun?

My fun consists of spending time with family. I love when my whole family gets together, and we get to spend a whole weekend together.

Q9: List 3 of your best personality traits:

Ambitious, easy going, thoughtful

Q10: Write in 3-5 sentences a short narrative of a time where you learned something valuable that you’ve applied in your college years.

Coming into college I’ve been told countless times to be involved. This was something I struggled with; I’ve had to work hard at opening up myself to new things and being more outgoing. I have always been an introvert, but I was involved in high school a little. I am now realizing the importance of being involved, it has really opened me up to new experiences and opportunities in life.
